Claire Branigan is a PhD candidate in anthropology with a minor in Gender Relations in International Development. Her dissertation “Towards a Loving Justice: Kinship Activism in the aftermath of Femicide,” explores the ways in which family members of femicide victims and feminist activists imagine and create justice in cases of femicide in Argentina.
In 2020, Claire founded RIAF (La Red Intermaericana Anti-Femicidio) a multilingual/interdisciplinary community for academic and activist dialogue on feminicide in the Americas. More information on the network can be found here.
