Amanda J. Butler, M.A. is an archaeologist and geoarchaeologist specializing in North American archaeology. As a lithic analyst withthe Illinois State Archaeological Survey, she co-authored several chaptersin multiple technical cultural resource management site reports. She is an established lecturer through her many teaching appointments at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Parkland College (Champaign, IL), as well as Minnesota State University Moorhead. Currently, she is writing her dissertation on the Collins Site in East-Central Illinois.
