Biography

Citlalli Garcia Mendoza (she/they) is from Chicago and currently holds two degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, both of which on lands stewarded by Bodwéwadmi, Myaamia, Očhéthi Šakówiŋ,  Kiikaapoo, Kaskaskia, and Peoria.

Research Interests

Indigenous Critical Theories, Intersectional feminisms, Indigenous Language Revitalization, Indigeneity, Chicanismo, Danza Azteca, Mexicayotl, Curriculum and Instruction, community-based methodologies.
