Anthropology doctoral student Breanna Escamilla spent the summer working with community partner Driven to Reach Excellence & Academic Achievement for Males (DREAAM). DREAAM takes a trauma-informed approach to empower boys and young men for life success through a program that is 'focused on literacy, STEM, creativity and solution thinking.'

Breanna's partnership with DREAAM was made possible through Summer Bridge program sponsored by the Humanities Without Walls Consortium. In this blog spotlight, she reflects on her experience.
