What: Join us in celebrating the launch of the ‘An accessible university means…’ booklet/survey created by the Crip* Internship Group with a screening of the award winning film ‘I Didn’t See You There’ by Reid Davenport! 

Members of the Crip* Internship will introduce the ‘Instances of Ableism’ survey and ‘An accessible university means…’ booklet, created throughout the Spring and Fall of 2023. Limited edition risograph printed copies of the booklet/survey will be available for free for event attendees.

When: Wednesday, November 15, 2023, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. CST 

Where: University YMCA at 1001 S Wright St, Champaign, IL 61820 or virtually via Zoom

Access Notes: This event will include ASL interpretation and CART captions. Attendees are welcome to join in person or via zoom. Wheelchair access and comfortable seating will be a part of our event and we will include a short break in the middle. We request everyone wear masks. Masks will be provided, and we also encourage you to bring your own. Mask wearing is a form of community care for disabled folks and many others to create a space accessible to all.
