OFFICE OF UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH

AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN (AAUW): IDA KING STEVENS AWARD

The Ida King Stevens Award is intended to help returning women students complete their education.

Eligibility: The recipient must be female, a resident of the state of illinois, have experienced an interruption in formal education of at least 2 years, be enrolled as an undergraduate program at UIUC either full-time or part-time, demonstrate need (as determined by FAFSA), and have a minimum 2.5 gpa.

Award Amount: $1000 ($500 each semester) toward tuition and fees

MARY RAMIER GRANT

The Mary Ramier Gant is set up to inspire undergraduate women to develop as successful leaders, activists, and professionals. Awards for undergraduate women support activism, creative projects, research and travel related to Gender and Women's Studies.

Eligibility: All undergraduate women in good standing are eligible to apply.  Applicants should fill out an application form, and include the name of a faculty member who might be called for reference.

Award Amount: $100 to $500

Applications due by October 1st or March 1st annualy
